Becoming a mother has reshaped my world in ways I never foresaw, filling it with lullabies and moments of wonder. But amid the giggles and tiny socks, my heart beats fervently for my first love – the timeless elegance of traditional sarees and the magic of Maharashtrian jewellery.

 

I am Komal, a proud 9-month-old mom, standing at the beautiful intersection of motherhood and artistry. Now, I cherish the stories spun by a nath or chandrahar, each piece whispering tales of heritage and grace. As a designer, I’ve always yearned to breathe new life into our jewellery traditions. This desire to blend ancient beauty with contemporary ease gave birth to Kanak.

 

From the warmth of my home, with my little one by my side, Kanak grew with love, dedication, and a sprinkle of dreams. It’s much more than jewellery; it's an invitation to embrace our roots while celebrating the woman you are today. I design with you in mind – whether you're a glowing bride, a spirited new mom like myself, or a soul who finds joy in minimalist wonder.
